We've been enjoying Sourdough Solution bread before they moved to their location in Colfax. It is so good and filling! We've been gluten free for over 4 years now and were delighted to find bread we could eat.

We order bread loaves regularly. The rye and super seed are our favorites. They also have vegan waffles which are delicious! Their crackers and pizza crusts are great too!

Rob is very nice and knowledgeable. He really cares about his customers and the food he makes! We just took his sourdough bread making class which was fantastic. We got to eat waffles and pizza while there. We each baked two loaves of bread and made dough to take home and bake. We also left with sourdough starter and flour so we can continue making bread.

Yeah, the other reviews had to be written by employees or paid by the owners, because this place was horrible. I rarely write reviews on yelp  but had to write one for this place because I don't  want anyone else making the same mistake we did.
My boyfriend and I went to this place for breakfast the other morning. We noticed it has recently opened in the area and decided to try something new. Right away we should have known this wasn't what we were expecting. Four large "card tables", for lack of a better word, were set up with flimsy uncomfortable chairs set around them. All the tables were taken with groups of people impatiently waiting for their food. One group kept getting up to look into the kitchen for their food. We were starving and should have known to walk out then, but we decided to order anyway. My boyfriend ordered the French toast and coffee and I ordered sourdough toast with a garlic olive oil spread and avocado and an iced tea. The total was $15. I was told to pick my iced tea from a fridge full of Pre-filled cups of clear liquid. No ice. We sat at a card table with another couple waiting for their breakfast, as there was not enough seating for individual tables. The atmosphere was tense and quiet as the entire restaurant all waited for their food. 20 minutes later, our breakfast came out and we were shocked at what we had ordered. Each order came on a small paper plate - about 6" in diameter - and was only a single slice of dense bread (about an inch think) with toppings. The "french toast" had no syrup or butter. Just one slice of dry bread with sliced strawberries on top. We each received one plastic knife and fork and one brown paper napkin. No other silverware or condiments were available.
Now all of this would be okay if the food tasted good. But it was HORRIBLE! The bread was salty to the point of being sickening. We each tried to cut our hard dry piece of toast with our plastic knives and nearly broke them in the process. My iced tea tasted like water. His black coffee was surprisingly not bad. We were each able to take about two bites before we threw away our dishes and walked out. We left a restaurant full of unsuspecting impatient diners waiting for their slices of dried salty bread. I will never go in here again. Even if you paid me!

The staff is always friendly and willing to help you in any why.  I have not sat down to have lunch. I purchased a loaf of bread to take home. I enjoy the flavor of the different kinds that are available.

The class was informative and Rob is a great teacher. I so appreciated his sharing his knowledge, his personal journey and just showing us his human side of business. . . We were well fed, and received more sourdough products as take away than I certainly expected.

I would highly recommend anyone who wants an I person lesson with sourdough, in an all vegan way this is your class.  It's a class with all natural wheat flour.  It is not the SF sourdough, but you will the difference.  This is a great healthy class. I loved I could eat bread without regret.

    Thank you Rob!!

I don't think I ever had real sourdough until I came here. The service was great and friendly. I got a mini pizza, and when I first saw it I thought there was no way I could feel satisfied after eating it since I can throw down like 6 slices of meat lovers in one sitting, but this mini sourdough pizza left me leaning back and catching my breath so I could finish the last bite. My wife got the Abby toastwich with chicken and absolutely loved it. The housemade pesto sauce was amazing! We also tried the sourdough waffle. If you are craving a sweet, donutty breakfast dessert, this probably isn't the move for you, but if you're in the mood for a semi-sweet and extremely hearty way to start off your hike, ride, or day at work, you've found just the breakfast for you.
